
Winter 2006/Spring 2007. Barnacle log files dating from her construction have been located. The log files list in detail, all the parts and pieces that went into her construction in the early 1930's, and also has the costs for each line item.
The log has been treated and protected sheet by sheet, so it can last for many, many more years to come. We also digitized the logs, so they can be viewed on this website. Click here to launch the log file viewer.
Barnacle was the official Committee Boat for the Norm Blanchard Sailing Regatta to be held on Lake Union September 30-October 1, 2006.
Barnacle appeared in the Lake Union Wooden Boat Festival at the Center for Wooden Boats in Seattle over the 4th of July weekend, 2006.
(May 2006) Barnacle wins Award at Seattle Yacht Club.

Barnacle awarded second place in ‘Classic Power under 40 feet’ division at the 2006 Seattle Yacht Club Opening Day ceremonies! She will have her name inscribed on the perpetual ‘Commodore’s Trophy’ of the Seattle Yacht Club. |
